British Columbia Vacation

I just got back from vacationing, in Canada’s British Columbia, last week. While there, my wife and I stayed in Vancouver and Victoria.

Both of these cities are located in nature beautifully. You don’t even have to leave the cities to be immersed in mother nature. Riding the ferry from Vancouver to Vancouver Island was an amazing boat ride. The islands are filled with cedar trees running to the edge of rock that terminates down into this jade blue colored water.

My heart pulls me to this area, but my pocketbook can’t afford to live there. The next best thing will be to live in Seattle with the option to take a ferry ride to Victoria in 90 minutes or to drive to Vancouver in 3 hours.

Still chasing the dream

This past year and a little bit of last year I have been going out to watch my friend, Jack Hudson, play baseball in the local over 28 baseball league. With Jack being in his 50's, I consider him and his fellow ball players to still be chasing the dream. The dream of Baseball.

The Athens Area Mens Baseball League, AAMBL, has 6 teams in its 28 and over division and 8 teams in its 18 and over division. They play at the Holland Sports Complex. The AAMBL website can be found here http://www.aambl.com/index.html

I have been having some fun taking photos of Jacks team, the Cubs, at these baseball games. Very different then what I usually take photos of. Anyways, enough writing, and hope you enjoy the photos.
